I mainly use the dehumidifier upstairs in the bedroom, to get the clammy air drier on warm and hot evenings and nights. Especially when the windows can't stay open because it's warmer outside than inside, this is a godsend for getting more pleasant air anyway. Combined with a ceiling fan it works nicely as an alternative to air conditioning. It works well and fast and pulls a lot of water out of the air. It's also easy to move, so you can put it in the attic to help dry the laundry, or wherever. The only reason for one star less is that it does give off a little heat, but that can't be avoided without an outside vent, of course. It certainly doesn't cancel out the benefit of using it. A good purchase.

Our attic has single glazing and in winter it can get too damp, which is why we use a dehumidifier all the time. This is our 3rd, and this model has come a long way. What I see as pluses: + nice design, good finish and mobile + does its job well, powerful + has Wi-Fi and HEPA (we don't get much out of the latter) - noise isn't disturbing, but my previous model was quieter, though less powerful - no LED light when the tank is full, you have to look at the display - the tank could have been bigger 4 stars, the best model so far. Not the cheapest, but quality.

It pulls a fair amount of water out of the air. The air feels fresher straight away and it makes the indoor climate much more pleasant. What I also really like is the laundry drying function. After the preset 6 hours the laundry was almost dry. It's much faster than I expected. When I still had some questions about the device, customer service gave me a quick and clear answer. I've been using this Helthome dehumidifier in our laundry room for a few weeks now and I'm really impressed. I put it under the drying rack, ideal! Where the laundry used to take ages to dry, everything is now bone dry within a night. The Wi-Fi function is handy for switching it on or off in the app without walking up to the attic. No more musty smell in the room either, which used to be a problem. The water tank is big enough; I only have to empty it every few days. In short: super handy for laundry rooms or damp rooms.
